Studio Gatherings

Studio Gatherings are small-scale events held throughout the year in my studio in East Sussex.

Set within the landscape that surrounds my practice, these gatherings bring together painting, conversation, food, walking, and shared time. They are intended as spaces for thoughtful exchange and attention – an opportunity to slow down, look closely, and reflect on the role art can play in shaping how we experience ourselves and the world around us.

Each gathering is slightly different, but may include:

– informal talks on painting and studio practice

– conversations around creativity, process, and sustaining an artistic life

– studio visits and discussions around current work

– shared meals using local food and wine

– walks through the surrounding landscape

The emphasis is on openness, hospitality, and creating meaningful experiences rooted in art, place, and dialogue.

Rather than large events or formal workshops, Studio Gatherings are intimate occasions designed to encourage reflection, connection, and a deeper engagement with creative practice.

Upcoming gatherings and booking information will be announced throughout the year.
